Have you ever visited New York? If yes, then you must have gone to the Top of the Rock. If no, then you have missed a big experience and you must repeat your tour to New York. The spot named as the Top of the Rock is considered to be the main charm of the Rockefeller Center. This is basically an observation deck situated at the Rockefeller Center of midtown Manhattan. The Rockefeller Center is a 102 stories building out of which the top three stories offer the most amazing view of the city of New York.

You will find the entrance of this place next to the Radio City Hall. This place is located at the 50th Street of New York City. The first thing which will bring a feel good factor in your mind is the spectacular Swarovski chandelier having 14000 crystals greeting all the visitors at the lobby. Once you enter the place you will be in the verge of some extraordinary experiences. Once you have ascended the meandering staircase, you will come into a mezzanine, which has time line related to the historical accounts of the Rockefeller Center.

If you are at the photo opportunity region, you will get to rest on a metallic beam and reconstruct your own edition of the legendary photograph by Charles Ebbets, created in 1932.

While you are engaged in such an activity, you can look down to see the animation showing the probable incidents occurring inside the workers when they received a break on the summer afternoon. You can easily miss this wonderful scene, so just keep your eyes glued to the ground.

Then you will get to enter the two-lane path having a mini movie theater. Here you will be shown for minute films based on the history of the NBC Studio, Rockefeller Center, and the secret tricks for becoming a famous Rockett. Next the elevator will take you into the observation tower i.e. the Top of the Rock.

If you are interested to have the nicest view of the city of New York, then you must not miss this experience. The ride on the elevator acts as an enthralling experience. You will find blue lights to illuminate while passing through each floor, and a many historic images continually flash on the ceiling. This will create an environment of a time machine taking you to some other era.

Now as you reach the two story long 67th floor you will be able to have an extraordinary and clear 360 degree view of the city of New York. The clear glass covers makes the view even more exciting and lucid. You will also be able to locate the Empire State Building from the observation deck at the Top of the Rock. Thus as you climb up to this place, you can catch the glimpse of the entire city at a time.

You may not have visited the city of New York, but the name ‘Statue of Liberty’ must have excited you since your childhood. So, whenever you get a chance to visit the New York City, remember to include this site in your tour chart. This is one of the reason, which makes New York the top ranked tourist destinations of the world. This place acts as a magnet and gets the tourists from around the planet to visit this rich and prosperous city of America.

This attractive site is situated on a petite island at the the centre of the harbor of the city of New York. The Statue of Liberty is designed by the famous sculpture Frederick Bertholdi. This was a souvenir of worldwide friendship coming from France in memorial of the centennial anniversary of USA in 1876. You will have a unique feeling as you will see this 151 ft high monument. It stands on top of a granite pedestal over the fence of an abutment. This abutment is of a star shape.

The best of having fun here is visiting the statue and sight it from a close range. You can do this by having a ride on the special ferries from the Battery Park. All the excursions available at this place include a journey to the Ellis Island and the Immigration Museum on it, which are very close to the Statue of Liberty. Both the Ellis Island and the Liberty Island are kept opened for the visitors from 9 in the morning to 5 in the afternoon. And on the Christmas day this place has completely separate rules. The Ferry tickets charges as high as $11.50 for the adults and only $4.50 for the infants and the children.

You will get to purchase your Ferry Ticket from the Battery Park and also from the Museum situated at the Liberty State Park. If you want to book your ticket even before visiting the city, you can do it quite comfortably. You will be allowed to purchase ticket in advance for a gap of up to six months. This can be done either by internet or telephone. If you call 1-866-782-8834 you will get to reserve your sit in the Ferry ride and for booking your ride on the internet you will have to visit statuereservations.com/online.asp.

The Statue of Liberty is an immensely beautiful structure. You will never feel that you have spent much for experiencing this wonderful view. You will not be able to go into the statue, but what you can do is have a tour across the walkway situated at the foot of the huge statue. You can also go into the observatory within the base to have a look at the structure of the Statue of Liberty. You will not have to pay any extra money for this tour.

The Rockefeller Center is one of the major tourist destinations of New York City. It is comprised of nineteen commercial buildings and covers almost 22 acres of land between the 48th and the 51st Streets of the city of New York. This centre was built in time of Great Depression during the 1930. The name is borrowed from the name of its creator John D. Rockefeller.

The best time to visit this destination is Christmas. You will enjoy this place the most if you come here during the month of December. Christmas time at the Rockefeller Center can be considered as one of the most significant American traditions. The special and creative lighting of Christmas tree attracts the public to visit this place during this particular time of the year.

This place experiences record mob and highest television coverage in the time of Christmas and New Year. You will also have another pleasant experience while skating in the park of the Rockefeller Center. The park is a quite romantic place and you can spend some good time here either with your lover or spouse.

Although December is the most suitable time to visit this place, you will also not feel deprived if you come to this place during some other time of the year. You will not have to wait for December for visiting this beautiful place. The Rockefeller Center is an impressive exhibition of human originality and creativity.

You will find an underground Concourse here at the Rockefeller Center. This part of the Center is considered to be one of the most fascinating portions of the centre. The concourse is considered as the largest underground establishment of the city of New York. You will come across a number of fast food centers, restaurants and retail shops in this part of the Rockefeller Centre.

The most appealing and exciting areas of this place are the two shopping corridors situated parallel to each other and a horseshoe corridor near the skating surface. These corridors serve well in bad weather conditions, by letting people move from one Rockefeller Building to another.

This center is considered to be among the most esteemed office complexes of Manhattan Island. The Rockefeller Center acts as the hub of activities for a large number of people living in New York. People love to accept this place as a symbol of the pride of their country and city.

You will often get to hear the nickname ‘Rock’ for this place. If you are interested to have a room at a nearby Hotel, you will not have to search much. Hotel like ‘The Rockefeller Center Hotel’ is just a few minutes away from its ice skating rink. So, what are you waiting for? Just book a ticket and visit New York. Only then you will get to see this artistic human-creation.

One of the must sees in the city of New York is the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This is one of the most popular sites of the New York City. In a single year this place is visited by almost five million visitors. This place has something to offer for everyone. The huge size of this building will make spell bound, but the things in offer here will provide you some pleasant experiences. This is a place having exclusive works of art.

If you are lost in the meandering ways of this enormous building, you will always get to ask the direction from the museum personnel. You will always manage to find museum personnel near you no matter where you are. He or she can provide you information about the path of the museum. If you have plans to visit the Met you have to keep one full day for this purpose. Visiting the Metropolitan Museum of Art is not a matter of a few hours. It will take a whole day, if you want to have a look at all its belongings properly.

New York is a place full of unique tourist attractions. The empire State Building is one such exciting place to visit in the New York City. This building is famous for its large construction and is ranked as the seventh largest building of the world. While traveling through the city if you pass through the crossing of the West 34th Street and the Fifth Avenue, you will come across this 102 storied skyscraper.

It was the tallest building in the city till the construction of the famous WTC building. But now it is again the tallest one, after the disaster of 9/11. The Empire State Building is named as one of the modern seven wonders of the earth and holds the number one rank as the top architectural work of America.

Once you visit this place during the night, the view created by the floodlights will attract you visit the place again and again. If you are lucky to be able to visit the place during any festive season, such as Christmas, you will get to see beautiful colored illumination at the top pf this building.

This Building owns an immensely popular outdoor observatory. More that 110 million tourists visit this place every year. Enter the observation deck situated at the 86th floor of the Empire State Building and have the see a complete 360 degree view of the beautiful city of New York.

You will also get another observation deck at the top floor of the building. This deck was closed for sometime in 1999, but now you can visit it after it was again opened in 1005. The second observation deck is much smaller that that of the 86th floor and is entirely enclosed. If you visit the site in time of high traffic this desk might be closed.

Another major attraction of this place is the attraction of the motion stimulator, which is located at the second floor of the building. This ride was mainly opened to complement the observation decks. The NY Skyride can be defined as a simulated mid-air trip over the entire city of New York. You will have this dramatic experience for about 25 minutes.

You will get to see an updated version of this journey, if you visit the Empire State Building now. This restructured film is basically the same as the first version, only the shots of the WTC are removed after the destruction of the Twin Tower in 2001. If you have seen this film previously, you will notice another minor change as the role of the pilot is now played by Kevin Bacon instead of Doohan. This version has a much more educational narration and an intense patriotic feeling associated with the 9/11 blast. This show makes the place even more magnetic and enjoyable.
